Tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI That's increably simplistic. 0 2020-03-14 12:09:35am (post #7780) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI You can see his Te, but it's subtle. You can mostly see it in "The Republic." If something is true on a large sclae (a city) then it's also true on a small scale (a person.) There is a hieriechy inherent to the unveres. Order is above the indubuvdual. He thinks it's okay to have a lie if that means it keeps the city functioning. Places a lot of weight on efencency. He has a really storng Ni that tends to overpower his Te. But his Te is still there. 0 2018-12-26 02:03:38pm (post #4370) |
Diobono int 5w4 ili Another thought on this even though i don't have it fresh in my mind lol. Even though Plato is an idealist (even though not the same as the german idealists like hegel) he still does not completely negate the becoming of things in the way the eleatics did, Parmenides and co.. and his concept of non-being is only relative, unlike them. To him sense reality is still pure becoming in the same way it is for say, heraclitus, so i in that way a kind of Extraverted thinking information is not completely denied in the way it was with the eleatics, so it's not like he is completely non-empirical. (Even though ofc ideas are the fixed and stable being) 0 2018-05-22 09:51:42am (post #685) |
fg xxTJ 6w5 Beta ST by Ni>Te i meant Ni at first Te in second. but you get a point about Hegel(i don't know enough about Fichte). Hegel is probably more idealist because he is an LII like Plato. and even if he is idealist he don't hate empirism with such viceral force as Plato. i see hardly an INTJ do that (even a LII) 0 2018-05-19 01:03:34pm (post #666) |
Diobono int 5w4 ili Even if we play your game of typing philosophical systems by functions there is nothing that necessarily implies empiricism since as you said ni>te. Hegel and Fichte are probably intjs and they are idealists for example. 0 2018-05-19 12:42:57pm (post #665) |
fg xxTJ 6w5 Beta ST Te is linked to empirism. INTJ =Ni>Te. so he is not INTJ. end of the discussion. 0 2018-05-19 12:27:22pm (post #664) |
Diobono int 5w4 ili Typing someone' philosophy with functions is super sketchy and Even if you believe functions have validity You'd have to be a shitty philosopher to let your cognitive preconceptions cloud your judgements. Unless we want to turn philosophy into a psychologism. Then it really all just falls apart flat on its face.. 0 2018-05-19 11:54:10am (post #663) |
Nyx INTP 5w4 593 Sx/Sp Typing by functions?! What is this?? 0 2018-05-12 05:16:40pm (post #455) |
EON INFP Simple: they don't vote him based on functions. 0 2018-05-12 06:08:30am (post #438) |
fg xxTJ 6w5 Beta ST how a man who despise empirism could be a Te aux?! 0 2018-05-12 05:49:11am (post #435) |
