strawberry crisis enfp 7 Oof, so I guess Fi matters a bit too much in the mix to focus in solely on Ni and Ti. Their idea of Ti according to their function test is sort of “actively T” (I believe being mean to people is more important than being nice to them) where I think you’d have a much more passive preference. It makes sense that INFP shows up the most since they base its archetype around individuality and creativity, also considering that Fi by itself in their test shows that NP streak. I also think a lot of the 4/4-ish INTP authors get typed INFP there? The only problem I have with the INFP typing is that I’m not sure how it could be justified outside of Fi. Ne makes enough sense but ignoring the link to Ni and Ti seems wrong, too. I almost think INTJ could be the most correct vote but the typings on their ISTP page are outlandish enough for me to actually consider it: Kubrick? Carlsen? Zappa? What trips me up though is how most of their ISTPs are really J in the thinking-dominant way, suggesting that Ti dominance to them signifies a very anti-F way of being which I don’t think would suit you. Maybe I’ll go with INFP after all, since you tend to lean that way over INTJ on their special type vs type tests. 0 2018-06-15 04:17:58pm (post #1234) |
edza ENTJ 8w7 SLE Haha, but IDR kind of types people by their philosophical approach in a weird way where Ti-dom is axiomatic and inferior Fe leads to these sort of universal generalizations when it comes to people. But it's not like they're even consistent with that. I think what you're describing is more like their conception of the Te > Fi types, it's actually INFP that I get in the more specialized tests to differentiate. The function test is the lone exception, where I got Ni > Fi > Ti last time I took it, and still that is hardly suggesting Ti dominant. I think you got a pretty good objection to INTJ though. Like I don't feel single-minded and intellectually forceful (instead preferring open dialogue which would be more NP to them) like their INTJs (which actually seem way more like a combination of Jungian Ti and Te than anything Ni). I also can't spot where my "Se" would be either. I did say something in private about not being too far away from IDR ISFP (Fi-Ni) but when you're skipping functions then IDR INTJ (Ni-Fi) makes more sense anyway if only due to Te > Se. They have, after all, typed people using loops before. 0 2018-06-15 03:30:38pm (post #1231) |
strawberry crisis enfp 7 I think axis-wise you would fit Ti/Fe better than Te/Fi because of your (very patient) focus on allowing others to figure things out on their own as you guide them when explaining concepts, which moves away from the “harshness” of how Te/Fi is generally described. Though Fi as a stand-alone function may test higher than Fe, you suit dominant Ti with inferior Fe better than Ni with Se or Te in the auxiliary with Fi being tertiary. I would choose INFJ but Fe shouldn’t be that prevalent and you scored ISTP on your first MBTI test. I’m sure auxiliary Se will begin to show itself in you now that you’ve been typed ISTP. Function magic! 1 2018-06-15 01:13:12pm (post #1230) |
edza ENTJ 8w7 SLE How to arrive at IDR INTP? They love their function axes based off philosophy and I'm not sure how "Ti-Fe" would work because of Fi valued way higher than Fe. Even their tests tend to tell more of the INFP/INTJ story. 0 2018-06-15 02:24:51am (post #1225) |
Doha INTJ 6w5 @szero If I were you, I would've walked up to the lady shelling out bucks and told her "hipster bums are always short of cash that's why they pull off something like that, I got this keep the change and have a nice day" turned around and winked back at him. 0 2018-05-23 06:25:57am (post #706) |
szero INTJ 1w9 Sp/Sx LII-Ti szero#0663 on Discord, https://blog.sakinorva.net/article.php?title=szero-self-assessment I saw scotty at a bookstore last year. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for typings or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen volumes of Tokyo Ghoul in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be offline and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the comics and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical function magic,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a thing. After she scanned each comic and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly. 10 2018-05-20 09:05:08pm (post #675) |
