LadyX intp 5 Yeah - that is a good analysis. 5 with 2 and 9 in tritype --> a good listener and sociable --> strong receptive social skills 5 with 3 and 8 in tritype --> dominant type, seeking interactions --> strong assertive social skills. 0 2019-01-27 11:50:05pm (post #5066) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? i think 3 > 2 and 8 > 9 as well when it comes to social skills, an already withdrawn 5 with a focus on 2 and 9 motivations might be socially oriented but probably struggle a lot with feelings of confidence, competence and humility, while 3s care about and work on their image and 8s want to put themselves out there 0 2019-01-27 10:14:00pm (post #5065) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? no real reason F would align with 5 over T in an irl scenario 0 2019-01-27 04:54:17pm (post #5061) |
LadyX intp 5 For 5's - INTP > INTJ > ISTP > ENTP > INFJ and INFP The fact that INTP is most aligned with 5 means that the E/I > 1 or very close to 1 people - borderline extroverts - are the ones we are thinking of here. 0 2019-01-27 01:49:28pm (post #5060) |
strawberry crisis enfp 7 I don't really understand why you'd choose a 4 wing here -- it just doesn't care about sociability. Sixes are very attuned to social rules and I would imagine many Sixes are naturally good in social scenarios because they're just oriented that way. Typing this as wing 4 feels seems as weird as thinking of apples first when imagining a "yellow fruit." Bananas exist, you know? 0 2019-01-27 12:08:43am (post #5055) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI ENTPs arn't genrly 5s. 5s are introverts. 0 2019-01-26 11:01:34pm (post #4939) |
Ryugan ISTP 9w1 I think that 5w6s is more likely to make friends who have different personalities than theirs beacause they are more sociable, but 5w4 has more facility in deepening their friendships and creating special and striking friends for them because they are more emotional. in MBTI ISTx and ENTP > INxx in social skills. 0 2018-12-07 06:54:26pm (post #4177) |
Taco110 Ni-Se you'll see ST Imo 5w6s naturally have better social skills but can come off as disagreeable and cold to more sensitive types, despite being more group-oriented. Regardless, of whether they're cold or not the 5w6 does a better job of blending in. 5w4s on the other hand have the potential for decent social skills, given that they are more agreeable but aren't as inclined to develop them because they prefer solitude and individualism (w4) over group orientation (w6), and are typically more introverted and eccentric than 5w6; they naturally have less of an incentive to develop said people skills. If we're talking about who naturally has better people skills its the 5w6. If we're talking about who has to put in the extra effort to develop them despite having the potential its the 5w4. 0 2018-12-07 02:09:10am (post #4174) |
LadyX intp 5 I'm selecting the more flamboyant and more feeling-type 5w4. 5w4may be less group-oriented than 5w6, however 5w4 go more one-to-one and tend to be more fun than 5w6's. 5w6 are more likely deadpan, dry sense of humor, quiet talkers. In summary - 5w6 better for routine predictable group social setting, 5w4 more fun at a party and for deep soul-searching relationships. 0 2018-12-07 01:30:29am (post #4173) |
Taco110 Ni-Se you'll see ST 5w6 > 5w4. 5w6s get a bad rap for being cold and robotic, but they do have the advantage because of the w6 which is more group-oriented than the more individualistic and whimsical w4. As far as variants go, so/sp checks out. 1 2018-12-06 10:22:58pm (post #4169) |
