Some American INFPs, or more accurately, people who LOVE the United States especially the United States after 2016, would type Narcissists as NJs.
My father has full-blown Narcissistic personality disorder. Lack of empathy, need for admiration, exploitative behavior, fragile ego, belief in his own superiority, arrogance, etc. Just not a person you want to be close with. He's not IDR INTJ btw (he is actually IDR ESTP) but the NPD fits IDR INTJ function stack the best with IDR ENFJ coming in as second.
ExTJ-type narcissist has as you say "excessive need for admiration, lack of empathy and inflated sense of self-importance." Driven by extroverted thinking this person is compelled to rack up accomplishments.

Yep. Narcissism is quite a bad thing to have because it makes one feel as if they have no true purpose because for so long their goals, desires, and efforts to succeed have all been done out of a desire to appear rather than truly be. It seems the only cure is to rid yourself from the world.
