strawberry crisis enfp 7 Two things: I’m not typing the people who identify with libertarianism but rather the philosophy itself; while there may be an overlap, there’s no reason why it should necessarily be so. A more productive poll for this scenario would be to ask libertarians what their MBTI type is, since there may be other political ideologies and philosophies that take priority over libertarianism. 0 2019-02-12 10:18:53am (post #5253) |
LadyX intp 5 http://www.personalitypage.com/html/political_affil.html In this poll ISTPs had a 0% score for Libertarianism (though small sample size) ISTP was the only type for whom "middle of the road" was the top category 0 2019-02-12 12:55:02am (post #5251) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? that sounds like a very libertarian thing to say tbh 0 2019-02-11 05:29:55pm (post #5248) |
strawberry crisis enfp 7 If there were such a thing as an ISTP political ideology, it would be libertarianism: calling for deregulation and freedom ad nauseam from the most blatantly meddlesome entity that people can point at. 1 2019-02-11 01:58:07pm (post #5246) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? libertarianism and perceiving literally overlap by definition 0 2019-02-11 11:31:31am (post #5245) |
LadyX intp 5 It sounds like the one thing agreed upon is that Libertarianism is not a Feeler movement, and probably arises from an Intuitive approach. It is about shedding bureaucracy and nonsensical rules, rejection of protectionism of both the status quo as well as the vulnerable ones. One of the problems with all these political categories is that the leaders and followers of the movement are being conflated - not a single type, nor with all the same motivations. 0 2019-02-10 02:33:27pm (post #5240) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? completely free markets and the non-aggression principle are some of the most P/9 concepts dude, some 0.25 J ennea 5 kid might be an ancap for like half a year because 5s r always into some obscure shit but that doesn't change the idea and its principles, again this page is about libertarianism not libertarians themselves or ppl who saw like 3 stefan molyneux videos and now call every non-anarchist a low IQ retard 0 2019-02-09 02:04:31pm (post #5238) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? anarcho-capitalism isn't a good example of extreme libertarianism either, that's pure anarchism instead 0 2019-02-09 01:45:49pm (post #5235) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? i agree that most INTJs who are agaisn't drugs are stupid but ancaps are P and 9 as fuck bro 0 2019-02-09 01:43:16pm (post #5234) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? "yo guys... i think we should legalize drugs because doing drugs is a choice (limiting choices is bad) and if you decriminalize it i bet crime rates would go down" -> INTJ 0 2019-02-09 01:25:03pm (post #5229) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? no one said there aren't, a political philosophy that's centered around freedom and individualism is not J nor organized 0 2019-02-09 01:19:24pm (post #5228) |
LadyX intp 5 Plenty of J's want the freedom from regulation to be able to create and run their own businesses. They are also more outraged by disorganization and meaninglessness of rules and want to reduce restrictions in order to do things in a new and better way. 0 2019-02-09 01:12:02pm (post #5223) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? that's like typing communism ISFP cause it's fucking dumb and doesn't work, the result doesn't change what it's about in theory 0 2019-02-09 01:09:05pm (post #5222) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? libertarianism is 100% about freedom and liberty, there's nothing J about it 0 2019-02-09 01:04:14pm (post #5220) |
