I do think he could be that too. I think the writer is IEE and wanted to make an inverse version of himself. He's said to be very protective of Holden as a character and how he's represented.
Annoying af lol couldn't finish the book thanks to this sadsack. He is imo too physically oriented to be EII but that's a close second
