ENTP is not about leading, that's a common misconception. A lot of ENTPs are fine without leading anything. Most of ENTPs surely want a domain of happiness of their own but they aren't particularly always interested in actually being in charge of power.

She is heavily driven by her desires and dreams, she tags along the authority despite hating it just because in the long run it will get closer to her dreams. That's a very ENTP thing to do. ESTP would just recklessly run away or not give too much shit really.

And we see how "bipolar" she gets later on in the middle of the series, rocking between being depressed about her nature and trying to shove it down with manic impulse of "let's just kill more klaxosaurs and the problem will go away haha right".

So definitely an ENTP, not ESTP.

And to address the "desire of control and order" bit that post #862 is talking about there was one episode where she takes on pretty controlling role by following a schedule and making others follow their program as well, so she is not completely lacking in this regard either.

she never try to take the lead or control anything, being blunt is a necessary condition to be a Te dom but not a sufficient condition.

she is mostly drived by her impulsion (eros or thanatos impulsion) but not desire of control or order
