Tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI I think all of these, except the last one, can be attributed to logic first. I'm argumentative because debate engages my mind, and challenges my view of the world, allowing me to expand what I know. I think it's fairly common to have L 1st folks be prone to frustration with other people. For me, most of my frustration had to do with the intellectual dishonesty and lack of rationality I saw in people. The last one, about spelling, is probably due to my ADHD or something like that, not any personality trait. 1 2020-07-25 01:10:52pm (post #8403) |

Tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI Hey man, sorry, been busy with finals then with holday stuff. Your first coment (in combadantion with others) will require a longer response then I intead to write here (alought I hope to get done by the end of January.) I chose L becuse A: I thought we were simliar in type B: becuse I felt some conecton with the charter. Orginaly I felt I had the most in commen with Light (though not in a good way.) At the time I was a bit of a misanthrope, who to some extent really did think he was better then eveyone else; Death Note realy woke me up to how toxic I was to some extent. However, by the time I reached this website, I related more to L. I'd grown out of a lot of the pride and biterness I had at that time. L had odd mannarisms like I do. I tend to sit kind of like he dose, in weird ways. I also tend to be a little blunt and off puting (all though you might not think so, as your one of the most strait forward peole I know, even for the inetenet.) C: I love Death Note. I think the show dose a great job of exploring it's charters and ideas, despite it's flaws in the mystery aspect. More then any of these, I chose L becuse I was tired of having a blank face as a profile picture, and wanted a face. 0 2019-12-25 12:27:28am (post #7551) |

LadyX intp 5 tman - I am totally fine with the misspellings - however they are not indicative of someone with a 1 in their tritype - I just thought it was worth mentioning that you might be more likely to have 9 in your tritype. 0 2019-09-07 08:35:16pm (post #7063) |

LadyX intp 5 Nope. But it does correlate with compulsive checking, re-checking --- determined motivation to get spelling correct --- even occasional outrage at others who don't care whether their spelling is correct. 0 2019-09-07 02:34:00pm (post #7058) |

LadyX intp 5 A 1 in the tritype seems a bit of a stretch (e.g. spelling situation). A pretty calm approach, in general - seems like a 9 in the tritype fits better. 0 2019-09-07 01:23:35am (post #7055) |

tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI The main thing that get's in the way of you is prejucie. You think ILI is one of the "good" smart types, and I'm one of the "bad" not smart people. I am skeptical of myself and others. I constatly change my mind based of my own reasoing. I change my mind based on the reasoings of others when there good. FG is the one who corects me most of the time, in the past it's also been you. Okay so I could be lieing? So couldn't you? You said "I can't be .25% introvet, I've never left my house for two weeks." Well how do I know youre not lieing? You're applying a double standard. Okay so I'm dumb. Why should i not then just be a dumb ILI? It's not that I'm never willing to put in effert. It's more that I conserve my energy for when I'm going to need it. 0 2019-07-31 07:10:58pm (post #6799) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI Also keep in mind, I don't consider MBTI to be "high priorty." 0 2019-07-30 06:21:17pm (post #6784) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI "Their views and perceptions naturally take into account any new factual information. For this reason, ILI's are often characterized by a nagging and constant sense of doubt, contradiction, and misinformation. They tend to be rather skeptical of other people's positions, and even frequently tend to question their own position. In groups the ILI will often question the validity of information being exchanged. Likewise, ILIs sometimes use a mocking and aggressive tone if they believe that the information being presented is wrong or absurd. ILIs can also be scrupulous in removing errors in facts and statistical data, especially in undertakings that they consider as high priorities." This is the most stricking qoute to me in the ILI disciption. You rember how was realy unsure of my wings for a while? Or constalty change my vote, even when the precented difrence was that of 25%? Yeah that's why. I tend to go based of a gut instinct, and then go back and change it, and then vote based of a gut insticnt, and then go back and change it. I don't have Si in my ego block. I'll often go long peroids to time without eating, and in genraly don't give a shit about physcail comfert. I'm often completly oblivous to how my body is feeling. I have a hard time telling when I'm sick. Often times, I'll go an entire day without drinking water, and then, when I go to get a glass, I start chuging it down, and suddnly relize I was parched all day. I know that sound exagrated to the point of parody, but I sware to God, it's the truth. "ILIs are often stereotypically represented as reclusive scholars, philosophers, scientists, artists, seers, and sages. The ILI, with their often unusual perceptions, may come across as unreachable, esoteric eccentrics. Because ILIs are confident about analyzing the implications of the knowledge that they have gathered, ILIs often appear perceptive, especially in fields of interest, and commonly tend to view the ideas of others with skepticism and scrutiny." In other word, I tend to vote of an internilized serries of conections that arn't imdeatly obvous. Look at my typolgy. To be fair, there not always good. Sometimes my brain gose of on a tangent of conections that end in nothing. The main thing that isn't obsrable in my is that I'm honstly a really argmentive person. Most people tend to find it a little intense IRL. I tend to try and figure out what exeatly they think, and how there justifed in thinking it. I once argued with a guy for 6 hours, and would have gladdly done so for seven, but he had stuff to do. Most people need a break after a little while, and some even take it as me being angery at them. I have that core skeptism in me. I do try really hard to be polite. The reaosn it dosn't come out towrds other people, is becuse, quite frankly, typing is hard, and time consuming, and I'm genrealy just prety happy makeing short little posts with one or two points, voting, and seeing what everbody else has to say. So I hope that helps. Tell me if you need more info. 0 2019-07-30 06:20:14pm (post #6783) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI This is my page. You're the one who keeps insisting on argumnts. I've given you one, down bellow your comment. You gunna make a rebutle or what? 0 2019-07-30 05:14:09pm (post #6779) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI Well maybe you know more about socionics then me. I'm not frustrated with your Ti. I'm frustrated with you being a dick. Logic is fine. Honestly, in my early teens, I thought in a very similarly to you. I would say that people should just shut up and only listen to my facts, and that it didn't matter if I hurt there feelings. But it's possible to make a good argument without being rude. It's true I have a duty to consider what you say outside of your behavior. But that doesn't justify character attacks. 0 2019-07-30 04:59:46pm (post #6777) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI Yes, becuse only Fi users get annoyed when you call them retards. That must be cause I hate logic though. Srls though, why not 9w8? If I really am just looking for comfert (inner peace,) and passevly argesivly avoiding conflect, without a care for logic, why not a 9? 0 2019-07-30 03:50:17am (post #6769) |
LadyX intp 5 tman is mysterious and sometimes his typings take me by surprise. I don't always agree with him, but many times I've changed my mind after seeing his perspective, and I've appreciated that. 0 2019-07-30 05:27:23am (post #6768) |
tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI psch, sorry it took so long but it sounds like your typolgy is almost exatly the same as mine. I tend to "type on the fly" reasoning my way through till I get to what makes the most sense. 0 2019-07-04 06:00:32pm (post #6563) |

Taco110 Ni-Se you'll see ST Tman, you could be a 5 as none of us really know you IRL, but you don't seem to act like one. Granted, enneagram is about motivations not solely behavior/traits, but motivations are often a precursor for behavior/traits. I could see any of the withdrawn types for you, with 4 > 5 > 9 being the likely order. Perhaps you're a 4 with a really powerful 5-wing, but you could very well be 5w4. You also seem kinda laidback and too low-key to have a 1-gut, which points more towards a 9w1 gut for you and in all likelihood a triple withdrawn tritype. @phsc To clarify about gut feeling based typing. I don't vote entirely based on gut, but I usually have an idea or hunch of what I think the person or thing's type may be, at least initially. If I'm right, then I'm right and will stand by it. However, if there's a convincing and well-thought out argument or evidence that points contrary to it then I will consider it and change it if I get the sense that I was wrong initially. Also, if my initial vote doesn't make any sense and I come to the conclusion on my own that I may have been wrong then I will change the vote too. Ultimately, I do like to keep an open mind and am not turned away from any alternative evidence or points of view. 0 2019-05-23 09:10:29pm (post #6049) |
Tman INTP 5w4/1w9/4w5 Sx/Sp ILI phsc, very obsrvant. I never vote to be difrent (Elon Musk was just a gut feeling.) I tend to more come here for fun. I'm convinced I'm a 5, becuse it fits my core motives, but you've never really met me, so it makes sesne. I more view this as a game. and am therefor mor forgiving of gut feelings, but when it comes to more serous subjects, I tend to any my freinds with my consant desire to back them up. Your spot on with how I put way to much of myself into my votes, espeacily if I relate to a charter. Your idea makes perfect sense givin the evdince your working with. You're a pretty insighful guy. However, I still disagre with you, as I tend more towards a lot of traits of the 5 (seeking understanding above all else, fear of incomptence and uselessnes, desire to know everthing, ect) over the 4 traits, which are there, but which I would never call more core to my personilty then the 5 ones. Thank you so much for responding to me. 0 2019-05-23 05:10:30pm (post #6045) |
