LadyX intp 5 "Messiah Complex" - "A state of mind in which an individual holds a belief that they are destined to become a savior. The term can also refer to a state of mind in which an individual believes that he or she is responsible for saving or assisting others."A special person on a special mission = The "survival 3w2" - "the Hero" seems to fit. Many 3's believe themselves to be unique and transformative through their leadership skills and hard work. The "sp" or survival instinct leads to a different attitude than the 3s with so, sx instincts. The "survival 1w2" - "the General" could be what you have in mind - dedicated to goals and making them happen, but it seems inconsistent with the term "complex" which sounds dysfunctional and image oriented - maybe I have that wrong. The photo also doesn't represent what I have in mind, how are we supposed to interpret the photo? 2019-02-02 09:16:54pm (post #5159) |
Jacobus INFJ 4w5 EIE I highly doubt that a 3 would view themselves as being Messianic. Messiahs have a purpose, something they have to bring to the world. 3s can be egomaniacs, but their end-goal is usually just social prestige itself, rather than to remake the world in their image like a person with a Messiah complex would.I'd guess that 1w2 and 4w3 would be the most likely types to form a Messiah complex. 2019-02-02 07:04:40pm (post #5158) |
