edza ENTJ 8w7 SLE Even when she's literally telling other people's stories she seems to be focused on what it inspires in her and what it makes her feel. At least by the Socionics school that focuses on quadras, this would put her outside of the Alpha and Beta quadras. I feel like the unspontaneous thing that you describe is common among people focused on their personal imagery. I don't see the likely guiding factor as a lack of desire of spontaneity, but rather as the feeling that external improvisation would create a dissonance with the goal of conveying what is felt internally. This ends up leading to a detachment from one's own inspiration and is something I can relate to myself very strongly. When your own constructions are a sort of crystallization of your internal world, the act of improvisation can feel very irreverant, and honestly the fact that she is so experiential makes me think P despite her arguably more J facade. I do lean toward 4 for her and the previous paragraph should give ample reason to think she is, but I think not only is she 5 wing but that there's a legitimate argument for her being 5w4. When you look at her inspirations they are very much in the world of ideas, even "Feral Love" which may appear more personal at first glance was inspired by Lawrence's Sons and Lovers, and she does allude to a lot of literature as inspiration. Although it's still her personal reaction to that literature which really seems to set off the spark which would be at least in line with 4. As for her work ethic, she's obviously someone who puts a lot of effort and pride into her work but I think it's common that inspired P people can even be more intense than J's when they are in their moment of inspiration, while J's are more constant in their focus. It's not a direct P thing but I just think it correlates pretty heavily to it. Then again I really just don't know if she's really answered how she operates that much so it seems more like a guess, unless you've got some sort of interviews where she describes in more detail. She doesn't seem erratic and does possess restraint, but at the time she seems to sort of take things as they happen. I guess the restraint would be a more convincing argument if we were talking about ESxP vs ESxJ but there's a lot of INxPs who are quite mindful and restrained. Her "warm, friendly, accomodating" in-person nature is at a distance so it's hard to say it's very F and I don't know if it really says much of anything in the case of P/J. Her analytical nature seems to be more aimed at very few things without a personal element to them, but after all it's still analytical. atm I think I'm at INFP > INTP > INFJ > INTJ but I can't eliminate anything. INTJ actually seems very possible. 1 2018-05-16 09:02:03pm (post #563) |
edza ENTJ 8w7 SLE She almost has to be ILI, IxI with her focus on her own mental imagery inside herself and trying to dig under that and transmit it into her songs, and is way too self-centered (I don't mean this in a negative way) to be IEI. She's just not really a "storyteller" in the sense of being involved with the audience. As for her MBTI I can really see any INxx. I'd be interested why INFJ but I'm not opposed to the idea at all. 1 2018-05-16 08:17:49am (post #549) |
