At first I thought he was a LIE over ILI because of his desire for fame and recognition, but then I remembered Schopenhauer did much the same, and he was like, the ultra example of an ILI. If you look at how he describes his behavior in this letters to Heloise, he doesn't seem to view there as being any problem with replacing Fe social graces with hard, Te criticism, unlike an LIE, how would probably at least try to be tactful.
