Interesting flower-like, nobody in my home ever watched this kind of stuff but I do think I caught glimpses or even just my mind making up images that were related to this in that age too. Even the theme song, when I finally sat down to watch this series came at me like a truck. I swear I've been here before.

I have not long watched this and I am given the strongest and most bewildering sense of nostalgia by it. Which is perfect, nostalgia combined with anxiety and the increase in volume of the corners of the room I have missed dearly.

Evangelion is a masterpiece. Many criticize this story for his hero but i think he is one of the main reason of why this show is so good. He is a perfect representative of absolutely indispensable need of men because those basic indispensable need are denied to him. Those need is what Hegel called the three sphere of Recognition.

1. Recognition by love and care: The love of his mother lack him because of her dead, His father never recognize him, everytime he wanted to create connexion with someone and having the love that every men deserve he can't (Kaworu who happen to be the 17th angel, the final scene and the masturbation scene in the last movie show how much he want to reach the love recognition he lack by sex)

2. Recognition by respect of individual right: well pretty clear that even for Japan being threatened for piloting a giant robot without training against a deadly dangerous creature is not very clean.

3. mutual recognition in the etatic sphere of an indiviual's ability in society: ability and service for his country unrecognize by his father and the NERV (only political structure in the show) he is seen as a replacable material and flesh canon, his field ability are not taking in account, he is never consulted for strategic important decision despite knowing by experience how to struggle against an eva. And despite being a part of the collective national effort the Nerv does not give him a statut/condition that impede him for being threaned at school for potential collateral damage of his work.

The three 14th years old in this show all lack of this three essential sphere of recognition and became totally unealthy and unbalanced in their behavior: they became overly obeident (Rey), Overly agressive (Asuka), Overly avoidant (Shinji). he is probably more hated by the public because his unhealthy temper is the least useful for action and the less useful in a perspective of national defense. But a social structure unable to give to his people those basic needs is condamned to create unealthy and unoperational individual. In our actual society some modern problem impede individuals to having those sphere of recognition and it actually lead us to have unhealthy behavior. The american communautarist feminism who lead to a distrust between both sex lead to a lack of the 1st recognition sphere (it explain the apparition of such despicable movement as the incel),the lack of th 2nd sphere sometimes lead to have a violent and barbaric people unable to have a efficient and civilized state (Hegel's writing about Africa is still somewhat pertinent), the lack of the 3rd sphere like it happen today because of a degrading capitalism and a State who used to despise the people's electoral ability lead to social violence like it is actually in France (the french people voted vote against UE economic laws in 2005 and this despicable Nicolas Sarkozy did not respect this vote and make a deal with this bitch of Angela Merkel anyway that lead to a systematic destruction of french social right ).
