By all acounts, Voltaire was extreamly hardworking and self sacrficing. Defenitly stirkes me as being V first. He spent his life compaining for the wellbing of others, but was willing to use frankly athortarian sytems to impose human treatment (he was a monarchist.) Furthermore, FLVE are catiarized by a very "It's a dog eat dog world" and "It's all a rat race to the top" type Philophy, which isn't Voltaire at all.
