Thanks Jacobus - I have been struggling with this system - very difficult for me. It doesn't help that many of the historical exemplars of the system are unfamiliar to me and the exemplar portriat drawings provide little guidance. I'll do more reading - need to understand better the mathematics of the rank ordering.
