lvna I think he's a good example of the elusive EII...he was fairly able to switch between rational and irrational activity...I can't help but look at "The Doors of Perception" as reflecting a humanitarian desire to expand knowledge of psychedelic drugs and thier importance and he didn't simply use these drugs to catalyze creative experience as you might imagine from an IxI. The Russians seem to have typed him as LII, but it's hard for me to see him as someone who simply theorized to theorize...S inferior also perhaps makes sense...but he can still be INFP though I wouldn't say Js wouldn't do psychedelic substances it seems like during that time it would have mainly just been an "NP" thing...and in some sense it still is an N thing unless you are doing it for social capital or sheer exploration because you have to have high openness to interact with something that essentially presents a view of reality that is highly different from the one the west shepherds us into. I don't know what his Jung type might be though. Also, why Sx/So? I think in a more traditional sense he seems really self-grounded and he could be seen as So because of the more humanitarian vision but I just think maybe people have switched up Sx/So and Sx/Sp in their heads, Sx/So seems like the most unhinged type. 1 2018-07-08 04:07:47pm (post #1948) |
