strawberry crisis enfp 7 I think it’s her most hidden preference, the same way it was for Oxy. It’s easy to assume F if someone puts the effort to be agreeable but ultimately t/f is a decision-making process where being a thinker would mean that showing care, compassion and tact is secondary to being truth-oriented, telling it as it is, and erring on logic’s side. It’s Myers-Briggs’ dumbest scale I think just because it’s difficult to place non-opposites on opposite ends and say you’d necessarily have a preference for either but gheegle had already decided she was TJ before we talked it through, and I feel like F-ish people deciding on T only makes me more certain of their self-assessment. gheegle approached it as a decision-making process, so I don’t have much of a reason to question it 3 2018-06-20 05:11:34pm (post #1355) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? "how's it going beautiful people i love you all" 0 2018-06-20 05:09:17pm (post #1352) |
Sleeper xxTx Nein SLE Remember what your brain is for. I am not ready to suppose all that yet, tbh but maybe my opinion will change. I'm going off what I see in the discord. I will say I think she's T rather than F because they way she references seems to be from a point of logical humor rather than from personal or group feeling. So while the T might not be apparent its a lack of F I notice. 0 2018-06-20 05:07:07pm (post #1350) |
Teru Mikami Are you intuitive or do you follow the state? I really don't get how she'd be T though 0 2018-06-20 05:01:14pm (post #1348) |
strawberry crisis enfp 7 We talked about this and I think an important thing to keep in mind is that she decided social 6w5 was the best fit for her (so far, but it seems to be between 5 and 6 there). Once you consider that, it's really no wonder that her dynamic and socially adaptable nature would do a good job of "hiding" her preferences for introversion, thinking and judging. But it's also like anyone who acts excited at all automatically turns into an EFP even though that combination represents something that I think gheegle is very much not, and I think she'd agree here. The only real argument I could see for P is that she seems to be fairly dynamic in interactions, but I think it's very clear that behind that attitude is someone who hates losing their sense of control over group ideals. Everything else—from focus to systematization—suits J far better than P, too. I kind of don't see an argument for extraversion either, at least from the angle a testable version of Myers-Briggs would provide. Extraversion deals with a lot of what you do, so making a "socially anxious extravert" argument doesn't make sense outside of more abstract concepts of extraversion where there's more of an "external orientation" than an "internal" one. 2 2018-06-20 04:55:49pm (post #1346) |
