"We can express our feelings regarding the world around us either by poetic or by descriptive means. I prefer to express myself metaphorically. Let me stress: metaphorically, not symbolically. Where is the rationality here? He seems to place the creation of aesthetic worlds and perspectives that are subjective in nature above co-opting the seeds of these to plant them in a more Apollonian form. I'm not sure what his type would be really, though. Something Ni - Fi, yes that is sure.

In general this seems like a person whose ideas are guided more by images than whose images are guided by underlying ideas. Would be interested in hearing what the thought process for EII is though.
