where did you get those correlations from? most of those results are from online forums and self-reported

9w1 most frequent correlations are: INFP > ISFJ > INTP > ISTP> INFJ

It is worth noting that the correlations are quite different for 9w8. For 9w8 most prevalent are ISTP > ISFP and J is not common.

The J correlation with 9 is related to the 1 wing. Additionally, ISFJ is ~12% of the total population - they are plentiful as 9w1s.

The interesting distinction is that 9w8 correlates strongly with S while 9w1 more strongly with N.

I'd like to take a moment to be thankful for the thoughtful, kind, gentle 9w1's who make life worth living.

most 9s are probably 9w8 and I'd imagine a 9w1 to have more of the "spiritual" side described in 9s, so intuitive and not that low on introversion but by stereotypes they're still oriented towards people and relationships and would probably have a social dominant instinct

in general 9w1 especially is also a very idealistic and spiritual type that sees people and their environment as a "flow" that they want to be connected to, anecdotal statistics are ass that's P as fuck, the only way an IFJ typing works is in functions or maybe potentially with a really weak J preference

you would answer yourself if you didn't selectively ignore the parts that say they're the most grounded in the present, tend to be slothful and easygoing and can retreat or numb out, going along with their environment and ignoring themselves just to preserve their peace of mind or when unhealthy being totally disconnected from themselves, retreating into static inertia
