actually thinking of it there's a big difference between the book and show, book jon is entirely driven by stubbornness and natural desire to lead, he extorts respect for himself and his friends & threatens to kill or maim anyone who doesn't, immediately takes new people under his wing and will beat lies out of people if he doesn't like hearing their opinion, his whole arc in the first book is dedicated to how he's too strong, explosive & intimidating to the people around him and needs to be "humbled" despite his good intentions (which the show blew out of proportion)... think he's an 8 at least in the books 
Lost childhood message for 2's was to be told they were wanted. Jon's childhood and his actions fit this image. I would also say he's sp blind, seeing that he would give his life for anyone who serves him. It doesn't seem like personal survival for him is the utmost priority.
