Let me exaplain, Berkly would say he belived in say, a chair sitting right in front of him. But if you said there was some quailty called "chair" that existied outside of our minds, he would say he had no idea what your were talking about. 
It seems a bit odd to type a guy who denied the existence of matter as a Sensor
