Scientific technician = IST / ennea 1, 2, 6
I see these entries as referring to the concept of said jobs rather than average statistics. 1s are more social and morally focused. 5s, with their detachment and focus, are a better fit for scientists than 1s, which would fit better as teachers or politicians.
Science seems to take a perfectionistic approach like 1's have. I can see either 5 or 1 being scientist, but 1's are more thorough/detailed while 5's are more experimental. On average I can see even ISTJ beating INTx for scientist as well due to population size.
