Eliot defined himself largely by his national and racial heritage, rather then trying to figure out for himself who he was. V last can lead to egalitarianism, unless the V 4th finds something outside of himself which he can use to define himself.

F is explicitly tied to the material world: the body, money, food, etc. Eliot showed a lack of concern for such things.
And if you view Eliot as an elitist and bigot, why did you type him as 4V, which is even more humble and egalitarian to the point of having almost no sense of self?

Is F necessarily the same as Sex? It's always been a bit poorly defined, but I thought it was broader then that. An F first might be prone to over indulgence, but an F second is very often controlled and restrained in there physical indulgence. I thought it could just as easily be tied to being "grounded" in practical matters as it did sensory matters. I will tell you what a I don't see, which is V 2nd. V 2nd is known for there sense of egalitarianism, which sure doesn't fit with an elitist snob and Bigot like Eliot.
